Insurance

You are responsible for verifying your insurance. All payments are due at the time of service.

• Call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card.

• Verify that Tamara Wirth Hunter is an approved provider with your insurance company.

• Ask if you have a deductible, co-insurance, or copay.

 

The deductible is the amount you pay for covered healthcare services before your insurance plan starts to pay. For example: If your deductible is $2000. You would pay the first $2000 of covered services (the full amount for the appointment) before your insurance plan starts to pay.

 

Co-insurance is a percentage of the amount the insurance company allows to be charged for services. You start paying coinsurance after you have paid your plan’s deductible.

 

A copay is your share of the costs of a healthcare service. This is usually a preset amount set by your insurance company.
